Back again

Time Flies That seems to be the common thread when I finally realize I forgot I had a blog. I remember making it so long ago. So much has changed. Job changes, kids growing, babies born. Life happens! Sometimes I feel like I blinked and years have blown by. I feel like it has been a blur. Some parts went so fast days turned to weeks and years before I even knew what hit me. I have taken tons of pictures but things have changed so much since I created this blog I am not sure if I should post any of them. I guess whenever Mr. Mojo decides to grace me with its presence again I can create something new and post that. I found some of my old layouts but a lot are stuck on outdated zip drives that I can not open. I tried buying one off Amazon way back when but it was not the right connector and it was long before returns. Technology changes so fast now it seems like going back to printing pictures is the only sure way to preserve them. Clouds can get hacked, photo storage sites get sold and changed and social media is not always safe. What to do and how to do it? I guess that is the main point of my just because I can blog.

I never realized just how many pictures I have taken of Auroara. She is such a precious little baby. I dont get half the pictures of Mason my sons baby boy since I am not there in CA. I get as many as his grandma and mommy post so I cherish what I have.

Where does the time go

I cant believe how long I can go without posting. I dont intentionally do it..i just forget. I have my mind in so many directions on any given day that I just blog in my head and not on the blogger.

Made Honor roll again and got a certificate signed by our District House of Representative member Jason Smith

Made the GVC Knowledge Bowl team
Medaled in Social Science for 2nd place
Team medled in Social Science for 3rd place

Lady Wildcats 4th grade girls team (kristys on it) got second place in their tournament

Scored in the 99 percentile for her grade in all areas tested

Got all A's on her report card..

We are so very proud of her. Shes still in her rough house stage..she can make a boy cry she hits so hard..(her best friend is a boy has been since headstart) I tell him all the time he is ruining her :) hes making her to tough! He wishes she were a boy so he could kick her butt sometimes when they get to wrestling and she knocks him down!

Josh is a daddy he has the most adorable little baby boy now. His name is Mason August Baroni. He and Taylor are engaged and planning on just a civil ceremony at the courthouse probably next year. Hes still working in construction, has stayed out of trouble and is doing really well. He has good goals set and I see all good things for him.

Kyle and his girlfriend broke up. Hes been dating different girls and is still friends with Holly. Hes still taking college classes to get his GED and wants to go to Paramedic school.

Jordan is still with his girlfriend Maggie shes a real sweetheart. He still works at the Pizza Port and is an Assistant Manager. Times are tough even in that busy place. Business is slow so its a good thing they all live together. He is still not sure what he wants to do. He hates school as much as Kyle but is a good hands on learner. Hes the most compassionate kid to.

Marty (my husband) finally got his disabilty appoved. It was a long 2yr battle and very tough financially but we are going to be ok now. He got his back pay so we were able to get a nice 2005 Explorer with a warranty and wont have to worry about having a car break down all the time. He was very stable on his meds but this new psych doctor thinks he is all knowing and changed to maany at once and he is sliding again. His new MD is an Internist and very good. He is trying to help sort everything out so he is not a zombie, in as little pain as possible and able to function.

I took the promotion to 1st Assistant at work and got a raise. My pain levels are out of control for some reason but My MD cant do much for me. My body is just rebelling at the physical labor and hours on my feet. I have to loose weight again (meds and nerves and i gained a lot) it might help my feet and back some. I have such flat feet nothing but being off them helps.

Megan Martys 16 yr old is getting married when she is 17. Its not the ideal thing but she has a mind of her own. Marty is being very good about it all things considered. She reminded him at least she did not do what her sisters did an is getting married before she ever has kids.

Jenns baby is adorable..shes growing like a little weed. Jenn still has a lot of growing to do but her mom is here to help watch over her.

Debra and Jonathan still live here with us. I think she will be 30 and still here..shes already 27. Jonathans got help now with is speech and such and is doing better. He is just a little boy who wants a lot of love. he has a really beautiful smile.

I guess thats all i can think of for now...i write like Im talking ..and i rarely worry about grammar...

Time Flies and other silly sayings :)

I cant believe it is already October. My Josh my oldest son is 24, My middle son Kyle will be 21 this month, and my baby boy JoJo will bey 20 in May. My baby girl is almost 10. Time flies..oh and on top of that I am a grandma and soon to be a grandma again.

My step daughter Jenn had her baby girl Auroara Jadin 4 weeks ago today. She is an adorable little girl. I love to hold her and watch her sleep. I wont get to see as much of my sons baby but I hope to make visits often. I have been able to see all the ultra sounds of him and Mr. Mason Presley is going to be a very much loved boy. His name was supposed to be Ethan but it was to popular and Mason was more uncommon. His parents are both uncommon lol so they had to have a name to fit. They are both high strung and fit together well.

I had a great visit to CA this summer and cant believe its taken so long to blog but things got pretty crazy once I got home. I came home to find hubby had another stroke like episode while I was gone. I knew I had heard a familar speech pattern in his voice. He has a variety of medical problems that cause all sorts of symptoms with no real reason. The worst was a little less than 2 weeks ago I found him barely breathing, literally foaming at the mouth and pale as a ghost. He spent 4 days in the hospital after refusing to be air lifted to the bigger hospital. He never did get a real diagnosis only pneumonia with dehydration, kidneys not functioning properly and possible heart problems of an unknown nature.

He is doing better now just under a lot of stress and on a number of medications which are part of the problem.

Kristy is doing great she is getting all A's in school. She is in 4th grade. She has a wide variety of friends and all are good kids. Its amazing to find out the school system in Reno is behind ours! My grandson and his mom moved back here she is 27 and he is almost 7. He has a lot of develepmental delays with speech and behavior so they are working on getting him a plan in order. He is being started on speech therapy again and meds since he has the attention span of a toddler and their class size is small. I think they will end up putting him in a special class part of the time.

Im going to be a grandma

Im so excited my oldest son is going to be a daddy. He is really excited. He is 23 soon to be 24, has a stable job makes great money and is trying really hard to keep his life straight. He has a great girlfriend and he has come a long way from that angry young boy. I am so excited I cant wait to see the baby when its born. The only thing Im sad about is not living closer to them. It has me really torn about having left but all babies grow up and i have to realize that it could have been him who moved away and nothing would have been different and a plane is a quick trip to visit.

Counting down till July. Tickets are booked and we are going to Ca to visit. We will have 14 nights and 15 days. I hopet to get a chance to see all my family while we are there. We are staying with my boys and hope to see all the usual tourist stuff Kristy has forgotten. She cant wait to go to sea world.

Im a comma

I got this from my cousins blog. I have been terrible lately and playing on my year book instead of my blog. I havent had a lot of time but what i have has been here and there..girl scouts is getting busy. The cookie money is all in and its time for trips. The girls decided on Libby lu's and Build a bear in the St. Louis galleria. They also want to do the zoo and science center. It is really hard to coordinate a day that all the parents can get there kids there. We only have a troop of 10 girls but many of them are in dance, soccer and other things that keept them busy. They are a great bunch of girls. The whole troop made honor roll at school last semester.

Things were pretty chaotic around here for awhile but they have finally calmed down. My mother in law went back to california and the level of drama has lowered. My step daughter who is 19 and pregnant is having a miserable time of it. I hope that she grows up more before the baby gets here. I am probably going with her to her ultra sound in 3 weeks. We will finally find out what she is having and I can buy all those cute little baby clothes. She has no job and no money and I dont really trust that her boyfriend will do the things he needs to. He has other children from two other women and one is only a month younger than the other.
